any person bought shares on or before last Friday (31 Oct), sell out on 3 Nov 2008, the person has entitlement to the rights. settlement day is T + 3, and record day is T + 6. it means: you bought 31 Oct, and settlement day is 5 Nov, and record day is 10 Nov, you are on their registration on this day (10 Nov 2008).
