I used to think that was the case, but given that the Author is, as you say highly experienced, he would most certainly know about GGG's and probably PM8's prospects (after all he does mention the much less significant PEK).
Everybody in this Industry needs to get "Paid"; Google gets its payback from Advertising, the so called "Analyists" usually make their money from Subscribers, We Shareholders will hopefully have our pay-day when the SP rises. But where do these commentators get their income from ? From my past experience it is usually from the Companies they are writing about, nine times out of ten they are commissioned to write the piece.
Now ask yourselves: Who would commission such a piece, Why, and what would be the reason to omit (thus create false impressions) the main FACTs of the story ?
Again you can say I am Paranoid; But I can attest that even the Majors regularly subscribe to playing dirty tricks when they perceive a potential competitor might somehow harm their market/share. By subtly diverting Investment money away from GGG & PM8 towards the lesser prospects it might delay the day when Lynas is no longer the only show in town. Speculation Yes, but not outside the realms of probability.
