I've been buying free range eggs for years and most of my meat purchases are organic. I don't have an issue with killing animals for food as such but I confess to ignorance about the abattoir process. I would have thought the killing process would be quick - certainly quicker than most animal deaths in the wild.
It's a joke that the racing industry considers itself a sport. Let's call it for what it is - a vehicle to facilitate gambling.
