What this indicates is that all that goodwill diplomacy is now unwinding, the crumbs they threw our way no longer cut the mustard so because their influence is waning they no longer feel the need to buy off us. They loose in reality, yes they can get products from other more risky jurisdictions but the quality will be poorer and filled with political risk. You reap what you sow, they are sowing truckloads of distrust in Aussie by their somewhat immature actions, I still say they need us more than we need them. The southern province of china is rebelling, your visions of grandeur in buying out the farm is flawed, politicians who you have in your back pocket have been outed and shown for what they are. Time to get some truley trusted pollies who won't sell us out to the lowest bidder. Don't underestimate your sparing partner. Australia is self sufficient - CHINA IS NOT!!!!

A country that Does not even make cars Does not build ships 99% of stuffs sold in Shops are made in China 1/3 of the country land is under Chinese ownership More than 38% of the exports are to China All major industries are all relying on China, mining, tourism and education. Australia doesn't even have its own military manufacturings, pay big $$$ to buy second hand B grade from its lord US. very self sufficient, huh?
