Not necessarily.
I am more than happy to buy into situations with a high degree of uncertainty.
If you have a look at some of the companies in which I have become a shareholder in recent times, a number of those could be said to have a lot of uncertainty hanging over them at present.
But what I always need to be able to do before I invest, is to dimension fundamental valuation.
It is possible to find fundamental valuation co-existing with uncertainty.
In fact, it is the very confluence of those two factors that create buying opportunities.
