As I said in the post you are quoting NY and NJ appear to have got the new cases under control.

Places lime Texas are seeing increasing new daily cases.

Sadly in 3 months the R states could be a lot closer to the D states than they currently are now.

This virus aint going away anytime soon so it might be a bit early to point the finger at the states like NY and NJ.

Hopefully the virus just disappears like H1N1 did but I am not thinking that is likely
