aside from the financial crisis.....its finally raining in melb....but there is this massive drought across most of australia...except for far north qld....water problem has not been addressed properly by any govt now or in the past....without water..towns dry up...people leave and go to the city...farmers go bankrupt...no longer produce....
does anyone here consider the affect the drought has on housing, food and financials.....
on the radio almost everyday I hear about kangaroos causing problems with the traffic....the roos are coming into town..they are starving, and looking for water...
unheard of in past 20 years.....
houses will be cheaper in the towns affected by drought...jobs dry up, businesses leave town....
in my opinion there are plenty of affordable houses for the first home buyers,,,,just the fhb,,,want to live smack bang in the middle of a city,,where all the action is,,,and unaffordable for them
