Just reading your message again, I might have misinterpreted your intentions. You want to use the result calculated in A1 in other cells?

Try this. Put your formula in cell A1. Click Insert-->Name-->define. Type Evaluate and press enter. Goto cell B5 and type =Evaluate. Cell B5 will now contain whatever is in cell A1.
