maick... i think you should reconsider that statement, i think the uncertainty today was not market driven but more a case of reaction to the expectation of low rates being replaced by a lack of clarity about the operations at the kowalik well site and its immediate consequences.

asked a lot of questions today of adi myself, got very bland cut and paste answers also..

my view is that there is nothing negative occurring at kowalik, if there was then it would be reported.. and the well flow rates cannot be given until there is clear understanding of stabilised flowrates, with a well getting mud hits after its thought to be cleaned up is not stable, so when its all done and dusted the flow rates will emerge....

until you get the stabilised flow rates your going to get "gobbledegook" and nothing else regardless of what you want.

drilling ops on kowalik, very optimistic on the drilling and length of lateral, open hole success.

well trying to flow during entire drill and flaring whilst drilling, very optimistic on those aspects

background gas readings throughout, make what you like about it, maybe its positive sign as apposed to not having any background being negative..

last 4 days of demonstrations pictures and reports from texas i passed on. flares, thick black smoke "like burning tyres" . very optimistic..

Today.. well thought to have cleaned up and not so, and inability to report by JVP until flow is stabilised.. remain very optimistic..

dont think its a case of rose colored glasses, but still unable to justify any negativity to the cleaning up of the flow, which is experienced in all wells..

to me it says the well is flowing gas and condensate.. well is cleaning up and report on flow rates etc when appropriate..
