@blooreeler; I would love to think that's the extent of our unemployment and that it's a gravy train from here.

However I'm aware from personal contacts just how slowly CentreLink has been able to process applications while even rejecting people who don't fit the government's criteria for Job-seeker benefits - close family members who've lost their jobs and who presented to CentreLink in mid-March are still awaiting feedback from CentreLink in mid-May!

Not showing up in this latest data are people who are under-employed, previously casually employed for less than 12 months and of course those people whose applications have not yet been processed as well as those who are still waiting even to get access to CentreLink.
