As I understand things , the Westpac debacle was because some Westpac Managers did not do anything illegal but provided advice that proved to be wrong. The Westpac Bank had to stand by those who gave this advice and had to Pay Up . In this case the ANZ Bank has sacked those who were handling these affairs with Opes Prime and now are trying to cover their ars-ses by not paying up and hoping that us Opes Prime Clients will go away . We will be like the Farmers and will not give up until the ANZ Bank is bought to pay its due responsibilities the same as the Westpac Was Have a guess who the Q C who handled that was . He is also in the wings waiting to bite the ANZ Banks rear Provision for Bad Debts ( I call them Bad Decisions ) Cheers Towie
