BIT225 did not come up on any list of possible drugs in use or in clinical trials for a possible cure against Covid-19 virus. If it did could someone provide a link.
The mechanism of action of Biotron’s BIT225 anti-HIV drug is to inhibit VPU. Which has nothing to do with Covid-19 virus. In the BIT225 HIV-1 phase 2 trial it had no significant effect upon patient CD4+ T cell count. So what will BIT225 do against the Covid-19 virus.
