Possibly, but maybe not.
If it gets to $10 for the right reasons - the reasons that pass my investment process - then it is certain to continue going on to many multiples of $10, in which case I’ll be invested.
But if it gets to $10 for other reasons, then I won’t.
Because if it gets to $10 for reasons other than the reasons in my investment process, then it risks falling back to $4, $3, $2, $1 or heck, even $0.
But like all of them, my investment process has limitations: it doesn’t catch every single stock that goes up. Not even close to all of them.
As just one example, it has no way of being able to predict when global pandemics are going to strike.
But what it is quite accomplished at doing, is avoiding permanent loss of capital, in the overwhelming majority of cases.
