Bhp should hold at or above 11.77. But given the uncertainty on Wall St and most metals taking an absolute pounding, we will have to wait for some good news before this heads north again in a big way.

BHPs is showing strength here in Oz compared to o/seas as it is only down 2% whereas in US BHP has fallen nearly 6% in two days.

I expect it to bounce and todays flurry from 11.82 suggests the sell off is nearing completion.

My target is 12.49 within the next 3-4 weeks using least squares linear regression method. (see Your Trading Edge Mar/Apr Page 19)

A break below 11.77 would be very bad news as it would break a significant up trend.
