Its not a good move. 25 bp means very little to most people but the signal it sends to forex markets isn't good. AUD now dropping, as more funds being pulled out of the country. Not worth it.
Peter this may be true for a trader, but for a fundamental investor its excellent news.
Cost of debt goes down, consumption and business profit goes up (with maybe a lag effect).
I dont care what the charts are saying ive been buying heavily over Oct, nearly doubled the size of my portfolio.
