Altium allows for the creation of custom components which can then be inserted into a PCB design. Therefore if the Akida chip was to be used but no manufacturers specs for it existed in the system at that point then the designer can custom create the details, which he would obviously have on hand otherwise wouldn’t even be considering using the Akida chip because the project suitability would be unknown.
