I reckon for 99% of peeps are few hours research will just make them dangerous to themselves.
And for any stock on the ASX, unless you are a truly educated insider you can never really know what's going on. But having some insight is better than none at all.
But never ignore the chart if it is not agreeing with your convictions. imo
