Elon Musk is most definitely a visionary. Not only that, he's not afraid to take chances. Not everything he says are pearls of wisdom but I guess eccentricity is one of the hallmarks of genius.
No matter how extravagant his vision, he always somehow manages to acquire the necessary capital. And it's the capital that allows him to go full steam ahead.
Now to my point. ADO seems to be hamstrung by a lack of capital so that going full steam ahead is not an option. However, there are companies who are in competition with Tesla. These companies must be rightly concerned at Tesla's seemingly unstoppable momentum.
So how come they are not willing to put money into ADO to accelerate development of our battery technology? How good is our technology? If it's as good as we hope, are they being far too conservative? Do they hope to get the tech for a song by holding back?
It seems to me that the companies we are currently collaborating with must have a fair idea by now if they are at all interested.
Tesla is certainly not standing still and their competitors need to pull the finger out and take a chance.
