They were insolvent 6 months ago but the banks tried to keep them alive to hold charge over the assets of allco. Hopefully by going into liquidation before the 6 months were up the banks will lose out and will rank equally with other creditors.
Notes are subordinated. It is unlikey that they will get anything. They rank behind pretty much everything else except shareholders.
