Like a shopping mall, serious big business et al.. FGR firstly needs an anchor tenant.
Cement was a starter, but ..but what? Market so established and regulated it is a dripping water on stone marketing risk.

So the second thing FGR needs is technology pull. FGR is the technology pusher, so who is the person with the problem that needs graphene yesterday?

Working backwards to build a picture of the ideal client and ...
To get a nice and steady cashflow lets say $5m p.a. and $250k/tonne that is 20 tonnes p.a.
As I have used elsewhere 0.1% and 1% graphene in the final product, an anchor tenant needs a product with volumes 2,000 tpa to 20,000 tpa.

    What are the implications?
    1. the Henderson facility will not be used. Instead a cell will be built at the customers production facility., possibly two cells. The exfoliated volume is just too huge to ship and it will oxidise, agglomerate etc during storage, so need fresh on hand.
    2. the best customer lives next door.
    3. An observation, the Hendeson facility was built waaaaay too early. Probably ok as a marketing/credibility benefit sufficient for people to think FGR are serious and a door opener for FGR.
4.the people who use thousands of tonnes of anything are :
    • construction (been there done that and the t-shirt),
    • oils graphene as lubricant assist.
    • heat exchanger applications (refineries, roasters, reactors). Problem is back fitting. Only new plant. Eng houses need convincing.
    • tyres, (belts and conveyors)
    • desalination plant
    • the obvious is EV battery, but that is spherical graphite.(To follow this story the first quarter of this link is useful: https://www.miningnewsnorth.com/page/ev-batteries-to-drive-9x-graphite-growth/5754.html
Open to constructive additions, but I fail to see anything but a future needing a heavy stream of small sales until enough time has passed that a big guy gets over regulatory or testing issues. There is always a lottery win, a left field event, dumb luck. It happens.
