what corner do you imagine CBA will be pushed? Chances are if they do not want to be part of Centro's future they will paid out by the lenders with vision.
To my knowledge, if Centro was in default, or unable to meet its scheduled repayment (a la AFG) then this would be another discussion.
To date there has been no suggestion from anywhere that Centro is having difficulty meeting its repayments.
The banks are well aware that if they oblige Centro to sell assets they also forgo income to service debt, hence the debt for equity proposal is by far the most sensible option..
