They were flowing on a 44/64" choke so maybe they think if they opened it right up it would flow 10,000BOPD. Flow rate is sometimes restricted by surface testing equipment theyve got on board. That said...whenever AED quotes such figures I take them with a grain of salt.

In answer to an earlier question.....the test primarily proves reservoir deliverability and nature of fluids present. Size of field is determined from mapping of structure and fluid contacts.
