Passive had to laugh at the pessimism that abounds Hot Copper and its easily to get swept way with the negativity.
I agree yeah things are slowing and 6% unemployment is likely to be reached, but today's improvement in job figures was quite a suprise. A pleasant one at that, I noticed when it was posted on the ASX general thread no one commented on it. They just went back to posting how bad things are and will get. Everyone comments how bad things will be, but with low interest rates things will never be as bad in the recession we had to have in the 90's. I just remember the constant talk about how high they are and how tough it was with such high rates. And to me tht is the filabuster that will stop Ausralia bearing the big brunt.
