strange that there was no director annoucement today.

so if there wasnt one then who was buying all that stock?

someone else other than RockCheck is buying, maybe Hebei is buying on market as well? they could buy up to 5% or 7.5m shares before they have to declare anything to the market.

i noticed that the discount between the notes and the fully paids have closed up substantially. could be that the seller is now out of stock?

i also saw an article on bloomberg that said BHP and RIO would probably only accept a 15% reduction in the benchmark price, if thats the case then BHP and RIO will make more on the AUD fall and could even make another record AUD profit on iron ore.

the Chinese must be sitting back thinking they are getting some of these stocks dirt cheap, in 2-3 yrs there will be another iron ore short fall and the price squeeze will be even bigger then. China annouced today that they would spend $700b USD on infrastructure in China, ie road rail etc. this is going to suck up more commodities and therefore make sure any pirce moves in the future will be much higher.

If AXO can pull their finger out and get the financing sorted then in 2 yrs time they will be in the eye of the storm as prices move violently higher on constrained supply.
