Mate. You say the Us is already in a deflationary spiral, inflation figures would indicate not quite at the moment. If they were in a deflationary spiral you would expect inflation to be at -0.5% but it's current about +4.9%. That's not to say it won't go down though, nor is it to say they will hyperinflate either. Only god knows.
