Disgusting mentality!
What we are is victims of the media and of the Indonesian govn't who gives these three so much publicity, so much air time and thus feeds the frenzied conflagration of hatred. Had they not been given all this publicity, they could have simply been locked away somewhere and died in anonymity. Now, they've become both, heros and villains to the extreme; and they are neither -to the extreme.
Also, as Sarcs, pointed out, our hypocrisy seems to have no bounds: We don't raise an eyelid when our side bombs innocent people by the thousands but when those innocent people retaliate, we scream blue murder! Amazing hypocrisy! Our reasons for killing are virtuous; theirs is evil! Our dead are a catastrophe, theirs is just collateral damage.
It's time, I think, we looked upon our own behaviour as judgementally as we look upon the behaviour of others.
