We are already exporting Io & Met coals to japan, Korea & Taiwan & India prefers to use its own.

Where can we export IO & met coals to?

Not Europe because the EU has prohibitave import duties and the USA has not shown any inclination to import either in the past
despite having a FTA with the USA since 2005!

The USA has already horned-in on our China market share in coal & LNG ; thanks to the Trump shenanigans .

How long will it take us to realise that the USA is our competitor and China is our customer.?

Last year we ran a $45 billion trade surplus with China and a $2 billion trade deficit with the USA.

Surely we should be keeping our powder dry until Trump leaves the scene, pocket the profit on our
exports of Iron Ore, Coal & LNG to China ( not the multinationals) and then build our own Aussie owned
steel mills, diversify trade by supplying the emerging 3rd world economies with energy & steel (China is doing that now)

That's what global capitalism is all about. If we dont believe in global capitalism, then why do we worry about a CCP led
China?

As a small world power we are better to remain neutral so that silly economic trade wars that are politically/ideologically driven
do not impoverish us. Just do a Norway/Sweeden/Finland...be a peace broker and a mediator rather than trying to pick winners...eh?
I know that we like to skite that we punch above our weight on the world stage but that's worth bollocks when we're kicked in the crigs...eh?
