Mr. Peros has credibility and gets some industry press coverage because of his previous success in the industry.

That is an aspect of his involvement that is a great plus for OBJ, springing from his well-regarded previous success in the trade. Up until now, I'd been more thinking about his capacity within OBJ to get products up. Appointing him CEO made great sense.

As for Reduit's recent Industry Award, it's no secret that these awards are industry self-promotion, but it never hurts to get one because...product promotion.

Watching his interviews, such as they are, showed he is willing to get out on the track and plug the Hairpods.

It impressed me, even if the interviewers are well-briefed and not there to 'BBC Hard Talk' the interviewees. It must still be a bit nerve-wracking, trying to clearly enunciate what our clever device does in a relatively short time, and no doubt fervently praying praying the device in his hand bloody worked when he switched it on!

Women do spend great sums on beauty products and the positive 'environmental' aspect provides a very attractive subtext in this day and age.

Easy to imagine early-adopters archly asking their friends why they are still using Earth-crushing plastic bottles of 90% goo, instead of Earth-friendly, re-fillable pods containing and dispensing only the relevant ingredients.

Virtue-signalling has become a hobby, often by people with a quid, and this product is a virtue-signaller's dream - and actually a good thing for the environment.

I foresee an advertisement with a beautiful young woman casting horrified looks at the vats of viscous goo to be washed down a hundred million plug-holes and mounds of horrible plastic shampoo bottles to be flung into pristine oceans....then, from her purse taking a Reduit device, smiling...cue paradise, etc. (no charge for that idea).

I'm getting more optimistic about Reduit. Maybe that's an indication that the marketing is even working on me, which is unexpected, since I only look to see if it seems likely to work on its target demographic, not on cynical old farts like me.

Busting to see the surface hygiene products being hinted at and happy Peros has responsibility for them within his portfolio.
