Investment and Chinese investment does not bother me per see. What worries me is the ponzi scheme, the lack of intelligence of politicians making decisions actually for the good of citizens, the long term plan, and the solution going forward.


If Victoria had a solution going forward that was sustainable and China wanted to invest in it and supply resources for payment, fine. On the surface just investment for a payout, resource deployment before heading back home after the job is done, not a issue

The trouble is I see no solution from the Victoria government regarding the venture. I do not see the benefits to citizens from the construction necessarily with no support from track records of other states and countries. I just see taxpayers more on the hook and its not necessarily China's fault per see its just they are the debtor.

I just do not see roads as the solution to Victoria's problems. If it was why has it not been done before? If China was building a robotics plant to apply for business improvements in Victoria, okay you have my attention.

I just see growing debt, unemployment, higher prices in victoria and leaders without a solution. I see leaders that cannot reengineer an economy took make it better for citizens and more prosperous instead of one based on BS GDP figures that represent falling prosperity per capita for citizens based on unsustainable ponzi scheme activity.

The fact Victoria is chasing funds outside, whether China, USA or whoever suggests the investment is BS because if it was a real great play locals would get behind it with their own funds because they could see the vision providing the hope behind it.

Whats changed more people, more immigrants, higher prices, greater congestion. Whats changed, still no reengineering and no emigration program so why are things going to change for the better??
