Yes , a lot were in the same position , and it's not been forgotten and it shouldn't be. Perhaps that may be the reason that the SP is as low as it is.
The CHF trial is unusual in the way it is designed.
We already know that the trial was successful in meeting it's primary end point. Have a look at the secondary outcomes, they are all comparisons between control and treatment group, no bar has been set. The results will be anywhere between modest to very good . Given that the DMC has reviewed the results and they have recommended the trial to continue tells us that they are at the least modest.
The CLBP trial is rather different, the bar has been set at a very high level. Investors should in my opinion be prepared for a miss. A miss however may not be a fail given the very high bar which is set at a level way above any other treatment.
