like others have said we would probably have seen 20c if not for this deal, and we wouldnt get anywhere near 85c if we tried to raise capital in the future. I guess its a good deal, after all they only hold a tad over 35% of the company now.
One positive is that now that ansteel is a fairly large shareholder so they have a vested interest in seeing GBG succeed e.g securing the cdb loan and ensuring we get fair prices for the ore. Maybe its not all that bad of a deal, id like to see other companies out there getting such a large equity raising at a fair price.
Cant wait for the open on monday should be a cracker, if traders get a hold of this who knows where it could end up...risk free miner anyone?
