Hi pinnacle
Existing products can advertise that they kill 99.99% of germs because the EU test protocol for making marketing claims is to measure a product's action on germs on a smooth glass surface - where they can contact 100% of germs.
That is the conundrum OBJ could not previously resolve because that testing protocol only tests chemical action, 'on contact', where full contact is a 'given'.
That cruelled any attempt by OBJ to make marketing claims for a device which increases contact, but does so only in those rare parts of the real world not comprising flat, smooth, glass surfaces in homes, hotels and hospitals, like benches, floors, beds, walls, etc.
It was disappointing at the time that no marketing solution to that problem could be developed to what was essentially an EU bureaucracy roadblock.
I suspect The Gruen Transfer could have had 3 solutions in 5 minutes, so I'm interested to see what a professional marketer can do next time.
