I don't know if there is a such a place on here, but it would be interesting to have a thread or something where people can put their researched recommendations, such as the couple of (historical) suggestions above. Rhetorically though, do people want to share that information publicly though. Hmm.

I know I have my eye on a small number companies that (given some level of research) seem to touch on some of the above positives.

Maybe we should start our own fund that invests in the (smaller) number of things we like. I have no clue how to do that.
