sensible and informed post and i agree totally. i also point out that there are bouts that take place with novice boxers etc that provide for the boxers to wear protective head gear and extra padded gloves. there are senisble people in the sport as you say.

atomou, who are you to take away from a mans family? neither you nor i know what its like to live in a third world country and the only way you as the man of the household can provide for you family is to box. who are we to judge those people nor who are we to take away from their livelihood.
