Ive had a couple of emails asking if I could comment on this one.
Firstly...KNR are notorious for this. Sometimes I wonder if its owned by IA. Its always the same drama and scaremongering.
Secondly, the tailings dam work is based on an earthquake with a Richter scale beyond what the region has ever historically endured. So how could the scenarios for a breach of the dam be unrealistic? Because its catered to even more than whats ever been expected? This would be the only point worth getting comments on and obviously still with little need at that.
Thirdly, and this is the most important one. Watch how KNR structure their articles. They briefly mention what you need to know and emphasize what you dont (but yet what sells eg Drama). If you reread the article youll see that all the items raised were raised as far back as 2015. Yet its mishmash worded to make it sound like its all recent stuff. These items are all in fact the items being addressed by the submission as far back as 2015 up to the recent submission last week. Not new ones gleamed from what has now been supplied by GGG. The Danish EPA hasnt even seen the new one yet as the EARMA havent consulted them yet. They are consulted later down the track as well as local authorities. You can see this yourself as after all the items the article raised. The article then goes on to state.. "In an effort to rectify those flaws and shortcomings, Greenland Minerals on Wednesday sent an updated report to the Environmental Protection Agency" So in fact its a good thing these items have been highlighted in prior years. As they have been well known to then be addressed and worked through with the GoG in last weeks submission. KNR should win Oscars.
