Yes, IHL made a strategic call very early not to play in cultivation and focus on innovation and the development of intellectual property for globally significant health solutions.

Re the sector, noticing more press around re the potential link between CBD Oil and Covid prevention/treatment. A bit surprised how long it took the market to join the dots re prevention (making the immune system more effective) and potential treatment (anti inflammation). I think there is the anti anxiety/mental health side that is still to play out as a theme.

Just out of interest, CBD is one of those rare "medicines" that has a wide range of applications and seems to have a holistic effect on the endocannabinoid system. (this system evolved 500 million years ago.) It is defined as "a molecular system responsible for regulating and balancing many processes in the body, including immune response, communication between cells, appetite and metabolism, memory, and more. It is through this system of receptors and metabolic enzymes that cannabinoids interact with the human body and trigger beneficial effects."

Point being is that the potential for innovation for new compounds based on CBD looks very exciting. The IHL strategy is spot on IMO.
