I read all the chartists opinions on this forum ,and when tops and bottoms of markets begin to show signs of appearing. I do wonder , this time, if things really are different? There were other times when a credit crunch crippled the market, I THINK it was either the 29 depression, or the 74 trouble. What you historians out there may be able to answer is were there any countries at bankruptcy, or verging, in those times? I know in the depression certain CB's refused to pump liquidity into the market, but this is not the issue atm. With much liquidity in the market, but nations suffering severe liquidity shortages, are things more serious than before, or is it just more knowledge now as a result of mass communication making it appear that way ??
