MOL won't be in production till around 2010, prices will most likely have recovered to some extent by then IMO.
Yes it is a spec and carries a certain amount of risk, but it is funded for the next 12 months and you have to look into the future when the economic situation will have improved. I would think that his is much the same with most commodities at present.
Given that MOL has fallen 90% from its high, I would have thought that most of this risk has been factored into the current price ?.
