Some selective editing there Elkimos about 40ks north of Perth. Not many people want to live out there hence the area was designated as a satellite city.
City Beach has not plunged - lot of wheeler dealer types and one or two forced sales does not a market make. I personally challenge anyone to get a nice house in City Beach for under a million. Lovely area , great location - when things stabilise watch it rocket. Macro miles not micro - ie big picture, long term - rate it as one of the best suburbs available.
Perth has a land shortage near the City , whatever becomes available therE costs an arm and a leg and in the outer suburbs costs the taxpayer 80k in set up costs.
There is no way there is cheap land near Perth where people want to live. Even in outer near Ocean suburbs try and pick up something under 200k because of land shortage near city - must be delusional again I suppose.
Rockingham and Mandurah keep getting quoted here - area has amongst the most welfare recipients in the State and a good hour to 1.5 hours away from City. Selective quoting of prices.
