interest rates how low??, page-11

Once one has been through a raising cycle like we have just been one gets a better feel for when one should fix.

Fix too soon and you loose the benefit of the period the rates are low.

Imo one can alleviate this problem by fixing for 5 years this time around.

Id be watching growth,inflation and unemployment indicators both here and O/S very closely in the next 6-12 months which should give you an indication of just how low they may go.

If the bum keeps dropping out of the market and commodities keep plummeting Heremes may be right but its a big call to see them going this low.These are unique economic times though so rates this low wouldnt surprise either.
