I just got off the phone with the investor relationship officer. She is really helpful and answered all my queries.
THE BANK WILL release an update this week, either on Wednesday or Thursday It was very reassuring to learn that the bank noticed an increase in retail deposits ( cash is the king in current environment). The is no connection with Virgin airlines. She is not aware of any merging negotiations at the moment. The common equity tier 1 ratios are adequate. I guess shorter will have a play with the share price until hopefully a short squeeze upon the release of the update. We shall see
