Kinda not right to say that a minimum of 14/45 participants is needed to survive to achieve a p value of 0.05.
P values are calculated based on the sampling distribution of the test statistic used + the sample data + the type of test being done (i.e. lower-tailed test, upper-tailed test, or two-sided test, T-test, Anova Manova etc...).
