AT&T are building a national wifi network as a supplement to their core mobile phone network. While everyone has been saying PIE's Webphone will be usurped by mobile phones PIE has been saying their Webphones will actually supplement mobile phone connectivity. AT&T's strategy (one of the largest telecoms in the world) appears to also confirm PIE's strategy.
