    I suspect that:
    The agreement is/was not yet finalised, but is looking good, and BKT is not ready to announce it (yet). There was big share price action last week, so to avoid any possibility of insider trading or the perception of it, BKT management decided to halt all trading until the deal is finalised and the market can be informed.
