Shrewd thanks for your post, you have raised many interesting points that have been causing me to reaccess my position lately particulary telling was your point regarding plant size and lack of control over own investment.
As much as i hate to say it i pulled the pin today and sold up most of my akk shares. The final straw was checking out similar oilers and gas companies that you mentioned and thinking opportunity cost. Some of those companies you have mentioned have great cahflow, management and prospects and are at in my humble opinion a discount at the mo. i still beleive austin will get it right eventually but beleive that my money is better parked somewhere else at the mo.
Finally management. not once since i have brought in around May have management delivered on a statement of intent or promise. This in its self would be o.k if we were told reasons and alternative dates latest example of this is drilling in austin to take place in october, now been informed its a month behind yet no info realised to the market regarding this. Cant make informed decisions unless info is available.
Also anytime the share price looks like its heading up we're fighting to get past all the sellers wanting to sell and recoup losses.
