The intent of such awards, as Cruz has reinforced, is to develop a secure ex-China REE suuply chain that can serve ROW dreams, not simply current DOD demand.
Hence the greatest award, undoubtedly a Trump initiative.
Hence the idea that supply chain would be most secure if as domestic as possible. There can be no argument that is true from any Lynas investors.
Hence the idea that EVEN THOUGH THESE ARE SEPARATION AND PROCESSING AWARDS, the proposed award-winner would have a source of ore/input that could be considered secure as well perhaps regardless origin. Lynas cannot provide any such assurance at this time.
Lynas is out in front, but I don't see any leadership.
