I have no specific issue with Stephen Power and have heard good things about him. His bio says he is a commercial lawyer with approximately thirty (30) years’ experience advising participants in the resources industry in Australia and overseas. Stephen has previously managed boutique law firms that provided advice to corporate clients with a particular emphasis on the minerals and energy sector.
The only problem I have with the directors and management of AZY (includind SP) is, for the capitalization of the company, they take extravagant salaries. I have broached this with Stephen and his only respond was - thankyou for being a shareholder let's all support AZY and we hope will all be rewarded (or words to that effect). Which is a cop out but one that most directors give!
Surely for such a small market cap they should be more frugal with cash flow. Reward them when they produce the results is my motto.
Anyway the graph looks great and there is a lot of upcoming results so maybe the stars have finally aligned.
