Well done on being a holder of IFN and TLT... I can't have the same enthusiasm for your NEW investment... but it is returning capital via dividends and painting a rosy picture for itself all the same.

In regards to nuclear... it may have a place in baseload generation, but the environmental, cost and political issues surrounding its use far outweigh its benefits. Renewables and storage are the key items we talk about here... I don't consider you a troll, but please accept that we do not agree that nuclear is the answer.

I sincerely believe that the world will be able to utilize enough variations of renewable energy to cover needs... modelling has already been published which supports this statement for Australia... by 2040 even. The real problem in achieving that though is that it does need the policy formed from governments in order to encourage its production - and the infrastructure to support it without penalty to the generator. We need politicians with stones that are actually looking further than their own term in government and not having their pockets lined by incumbent energy source providers.

Wind & PH projects are a great example of infrastructure heavy investments which could provide jobs during construction and into production that could help us on the recovery from CIV-19. If we spent as much on renewables + storage as the cost of a nuclear plant... we would have the generation - without the potential nasty side effects, waste, NIMBY, etc.

Until they crack the mystery of nuclear fusion power generation... I see nuclear energy as having more negatives than positives.
