Hey mate, the scaleback will only apply to those who are seeking to participate in the SPP.
To make it easy in large numbers: they've stated a cap of $2,000,000, and that everyone can apply for up to $30,000 each. So say that when the SPP closes they have applications to participate totaling $4,000,000. It's likely that everyone's application would be scaled back by 50% to be fair across the board.
So if you applied for $4,000, you'd only be accepted for $2,000, and you would receive a $2,000 refund at some stage thereafter.
The above is just to demonstrate how it might work. The scalebacks could be smaller or larger depending on how many investors apply. SMP may also have specific purchase package amounts; i.e. $1,250; $2,500; $5,000; $10,000; etc.
And it's at SMP's discretion how they apply the scalebacks. If the SPP is 75% full within the first couple of days, those persons might get their full application, and everyone else that applies after might be scaled back.
