No hand unfortunately... just hard work and working for myself rather than limiting myself to working for someone else (making them the money).
Time is a limiting factor working a normal job so you have to find a way to leverage your time and for me that is selling products online.
Not rich, but in a position to take a risk.
My parents never had any investments and to this day financially live a standard life with the worry of money and requirement to keep working to pay the bills. I don't want that... so it's hard work (and making the right decisions/choices) and it comes eventually if you stick at it and quit being a dreamer and take action.
Lazy / indecisive people are poor/standard (financially) and those with money should never have to excuse their success as it doesn't come from dumb luck (99% of the time).

I admit it is a big position, but I found Mesoblast not by cycling through charts or reading a brokers recommendations. I have found it in a backwards way.
I personally have a medical condition that will be improved or even cured with stem cells (I am actually off to the Ukraine to get Fetal Stem cells next year
Reading/listening to the endless studies, trial results, research presentations, expert insights into the future of medicine, etc etc... it is clear this is truly the future of medicine.
Mesoblast is the only company in this field that ticks all the boxes and is the market leader in this field. So naturally is the best choice to capture this revolution in medicine.
I have some reservations with regard to cell type (bone marrow not being the ideal choice in my research), but I think this will develop over time to optimise their treatments and BM is still more than good sufficient to do the job and show sufficient efficacy for the FDA to approve IMO 100% of the studies they perform (unless it is a complicated direct delivery procedure where skill is involved to deliver the cells rather than a systemically treated problem addressed by intravenous injection... ie. ARDS/Crohn's/Autoimmune spectrum of conditions, etc.).
Is the company lucky to get Covid on their list (hell yeah), you need a bit of luck. Regardless, it was going to succeed long term anyway. Covid has now just given it the promotion and marketing a company could ever buy... a huge shot in the arm to accelerate their growth.
If you find a company in your research like this (and not from just broker reports or forum posts), but really digging in to the detail... like for instance finding previous trials (from various companies) in the stem cell space and the success rate compared to 'traditional' reductionist medicine, you find that they have an extremely high success rate as it is using the bodies natural healing systems to fix the problem. Truly a simple approach when you think about it.
You just have to have the guts to trust yourself and go for it and that is what I am doing. If you second guess yourself when all the signs point in the same direction, you will live an ordinary life and will always rue the one that got away.
It is paying off so far and a large draw down does not worry me as my research has de-risked this investment to a point where the chances of failure are minimal.
